SHELLY HANSON, Spiritual Coordinator
Shelly Hanson is passionate about seeing the captives set free, and this started when Jesus radically set her free from addiction in 2003. Since then, she has diligently pursued the phenomenon of mind renewal, receiving training in Transformation Prayer Ministry, Sozo, and Restoring the Foundations, using these tools to serve as an Emotional Healing Minister at New Covenant Worship Center for 15 years. She recently earned a Coaching certification in Brain Rewiring and is excited to use all this training to inform her role as Spiritual Coordinator of the Henry County Women’s Recovery Center.
Her most recent professional role of ministry was as the Next Generation Pastor of New Covenant Worship Center, where she served for five years. She is also a motivating teacher and preacher of the Word of God; she has spoken at several women’s events and periodically on a Sunday morning at her home church. She is a Chaplain at the Henry County Jail, and is looking forward to what the Lord has in store for the inmates this year!
She has been married to her husband Chris for 20 years and together they have 6 children: two are still left in the nest and the other four have grown and flown, giving them 4 grandchildren as well. Read more about Shelly's testimony here.
