Meet our Community Leaders who share a common heart to serve Christ as they serve the women who participate in the Recovery Center.

MEAGAN KRAUS, Executive Director

SHELLY HANSON, Spiritual Coordinator
Shelly is passionate about seeing the captives set free, and this started when Jesus radically set her free from addiction in 2003. Since then, she has diligently pursued the phenomenon of mind renewal, receiving training in Transformation Prayer Ministry, Sozo, and Restoring the Foundations, using these tools to serve as an Emotional Healing Minister at New Covenant Worship Center for 15 years. She recently earned a Coaching certification in Brain Rewiring and is excited to use all this training to inform her role as Spiritual Coordinator of the Henry County Women’s Recovery Center.
Her most recent professional role of ministry was as the Next Generation Pastor of New Covenant Worship Center, where she served for five years. She is also a motivating teacher and preacher of the Word of God; she has spoken at several women’s events and periodically on a Sunday morning at her home church. She is a Chaplain at the Henry County Jail, and is looking forward to what the Lord has in store for the inmates this year!
She has been married to her husband Chris for 20 years and together they have 6 children: two are still left in the nest and the other four have grown and flown, giving them 4 grandchildren as well. Read more about Shelly's testimony here.

TIFFANNY YOUNGQUIST, Associate Director & Life Coach
Tiffanny Leigh Youngquist is a co-founder, life skills coach and the Associate Director of the Henry County Women's Recovery Center. She has been married to David Youngquist (a Marine) for 23 years, and together they have 8 children ranging in ages from 10 to 26 years old. Tiffanny has always had a heart to volunteer and work in the non-profit sector. Over the years she has helped bring systems, programs, and processes to many non-profits including MOPS (Mothers of Pre-Schoolers), 2/2 Family Member Program and Victory Lane, to name a few. She consistently volunteers with her Church family and has served on multiple boards over the years. Her passion is to use her talents and skills to make big dreams that women like Meagan Kraus and Shelly Thixton Hanson have, become a sustainable reality. Read more about Tiffanny's testimony here.

SUSAN ELSWORTH, Family Engagement Coach
Susan is the Family Engagement Coach of Henry County Women’s
Recovery Center. She has earned an Associate’s Degree from Ball State
University in Criminal Justice and Corrections, a Bachelor’s Degree from
Anderson University in Business Management, and, recently, a Master’s
Diploma from Light University in Mental Health Coaching: Marriage and
Family. Susan was certified as a Peer Recovery Coach by the Indiana
Counselors Association on Alcohol and Drug Abuse and by the State of
Indiana as a Foster Parent Trainer. She was blessed to serve as the
Executive Director of New Horizon Maternity Home and as the Founder
and Executive Director of the Indiana Alliance for Prenatal Alcohol
Exposure. She has spent the last two decades as a Professional Advocate
for Children and Families with special challenges. Her most challenging
and rewarding experience has been serving as a mother of 13 children,
most of whom were adopted through the child welfare system. Susan
comes from a background of her own addictions. Susan says, “My
deliverance isn’t just for my freedom. It is to be shared to provide hope and
proof that the best days are yet to come.”
