In the attempt to be as self-sustainable as possible, the leadership team desires to have a business that will help both the community and fund the recovery center. Member, Treasurer and Business Owner, Matt Kraus, will be heading up HCWRC's store front. Matt is the owner and operator of Eastern Indiana Pallet Liquidation. EIPL is a business here in New Castle, Indiana that purchases liquidated/clearance/overstock items from big box retailers. The business currently buys by the semi load and sells by the pallet. EIPL will utilize their connections in the industry to secure product for the store that will be sold individually at a fraction of retail price. The grand opening is planned for Spring of 2024! This location (see map) was graciously donated by Shawn and Charlene Dent.

When asked about how they got the building, Charlene shared that they were looking at the old Bob Evans building,  but God told them, "No,"...it was going to be the building that is now known as Cafe Royal. When she asked why, He answered, "Because it's not big enough for the plans I have for it."

The Cafe was a call to the ministry.

"It was always in our hearts for His purposes," says Shawn and Charlene. Their heart for the Recovery Center is for women to have a safe place to change their lives.

Thank you, Shawn and Charlene, for your faithfulness and service to your

community and the women of HCWRC.
